Could be: Several things. Not sure what you mean by 'crack' so it could be a natural groove, the hole if it is opposite upper teeth could be a salivary duct. How long has it been there? Is it sore? Is it pink, red or white? Is it fluid filled? More information would be helpful.Please ask again and if not see your dentist or md and have it checked.

Crack in mouth: See an oral surgeon soon for evaluation he/she would be best qualified to evaluate this.....Could be not a big problem but it could be somehting serious dont fool around with this.
