Is lower back scoliosis curable?

Depends on symptoms: Treatment for scoliosis depends on severity of symptoms. A formal evaluation by a spine expert who deals with deformity can provide you with treatment options based on your symptoms. Treatment may be as simple as medications, physical therapy, injections, or may involve complex spinal reconstruction and fusion.

At age 31 surgery is: Not recommended for scoliosis, unless is causing significant morbidity (back and leg pain) not responding to conservative management, there are a few other reasons why one will recommend surgery for scoliosis in an adult patient. Please go get an evaluation by a scoliosis specialist (typically these are orthopaedic spine surgeons). If you are having no symptoms, no treatment is needed.
