At age 31 surgery is: Not recommended for scoliosis, unless is causing significant morbidity (back and leg pain) not responding to conservative management, there are a few other reasons why one will recommend surgery for scoliosis in an adult patient. Please go get an evaluation by a scoliosis specialist (typically these are orthopaedic spine surgeons). If you are having no symptoms, no treatment is needed.
