Treatment is only if: It is causing symptoms, if so starting with conservative treatment including nsaids, pt, cervical traction, home exercises, then cervical epidural injections may be recommended if symptoms are still persisting. If these do not help resolve your symptoms, and your images show a compressive pathology, then surgery will be recommended.
