Yesterday i woke up and felt some pain in my neck. there was was small lump which causes pain when pressed. it definitely formed in one night. it looks like a pinched nerve. it's been 24 hrs. it's still there. what is the treatment?

Pinched nerve is a lay term to describe the nerve is compressed due to spinal or perispinal disease and it may cause the pain in the territory that nerve supplies. Pinched nerve does not manifest as a lump which appears overnight. You may have a boil or other inflammatory condition. You can try warm compress for 10 minutes, 3-4 times a day, then watch its progression, see a doctor if needed.
