Resource issues : It can be very difficult to get these kinds of tests done if you live remote from healthcare resources. If you have a tape recorder, maybe you can tape yourself during a night's sleep. If you hear snorting even without snoring, that can be a hint that you stop breathing. Do all you can to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor so you can be treated. I wish you well.

Home sleep study: If you think you have sleep apnea. You need sleep study to diagnoses to get CPAP machine. Otherwise. Just try CPAP machine if you do sleep better and feel good during the day then use it. But your insurance won't buy it for you.

Download an app: Obviously this doesn't render a true diagnosis but there are many sleep apps that can monitor for snoring, restless sleep, and determine the frequency of awakenings. A sleep study, though, would be required to make the diagnosis. If this is a true concern, you may wish to contact a local hospital to see if they can recommend a sleep lab.
