Let's find out: If you have to ask, the liver enzymes may well be up because of your drinking. If they go down to healthy ranges on two weeks of abstinence, it's your wake-up call and time to find other ways to enjoy yourself without alcohol. If not, look for some other treatable cause -- hepatitis, hemochromatosis, wilson's, medication effect.
