It can be halved: It is okay to break any tablet of escitalopram that is presently manufactured in half. I often recommend this in anticipation of trouble with the tolerance of side effects in many of the patients that i work with. I would talk with your prescribing physician if breaking the tablet in half is what was intended in your treatment. Stay safe!
