Yes: It will almost always grow back but the new nail may not be entirely normal if there was enough tissue damage.

Subungal hematoma: The bruise that you have is called subungal hematoma. If it is recent and the toe is swollen, you will need to decompress the pressure built up by hematoma. This is done by by piercing a sterile needle in the nail plate to relieve this pressure. If uncertain, then see professionals for care. If the nail plate is still intact, it will push out the subungal hematoma and you just clip it or trim it.
