A member asked:

How does high sugar intake affect addison's? after a meal i get symptoms of addisonian crisis. my doctors think that the sugar fall is affecting this.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: An addisonian crisis can be associated with hypoglycemia, but this will not occur after eating. You don't say what symptoms you have after eating, but it is extremely unlikely that they are due to low sugar. You can get a glucose monitor to check your sugar when you are having symptoms.
