Yes, ovulation meds: If you are not ovulating then you need to first be checked for thyroid or prolactin problems. They would be treated differently. If ok then Clomid (clomiphene) would be the first medication to try. A prescription is needed. Other things to help ovulation are to be in the right weight range - too heavy or too light can affect ovulation too. Losing even 10% of your body weight can help.

Yes: Metformin is a drug often used for this purpose. It is a diabetes also used to help control Insulin resistance, which is the root cause of problems with ovulation. Along with metformin, a low carb diet and exercise is important. Sometimes doctors will add the infertility drug, clomid, (clomiphene) if the above treatment plan doesn't work.
