Yes indeed: What you are seeing is likely the visible manifestation of a dental abscess. As long as it can drain and avoid pressure buildup it may never be very painful but it is a chronic infection that can threaten other areas of your body, like your heart or later in life, prosthetic joints. It really needs to be addressed by root canal or extraction. Don't be fooled by the relative absence of pain.

Need treatment: Yes, this can cause future problems. The bubble is the body fighting and containing the infection. You should have the root canal before it's too late. Sometimes, if you wait too long, the tooth cannot be saved and must be extracted. Call your dentist to have this checked out.

Yes: This bubble is an infection and must be treated by either having a root canal procedure (in an attempt to save the tooth) or by extracting the tooth (if it is no longer savable). Regardless, do not fool around with this and get it treated as soon as possible. Dental infections can spread. If left untreated they can even cause brain damage or death.

Sure: That bubble is an abscess formed under the roots of that tooth that needed the root canal treatment . If left untreated , it can cause more problems by spreading to bone or under other teeth . Get it taken care of asap , wether by treating it or have it taken out.
