Would a bladder infection cause the white blood cell count to be higher than normal?

UTI and WBC count: All infections raise the white blood cell (wbc). A bladder infection is one of the causes that can do this. See a physician to treat your bladder infection with antibiotics before it gets worse. Good luck.

Often but not always: Localized infections do not necessarily lead to elevated wbc.
