Bleeding gums: Are the result of poor oral hygiene, namely inadequate tooth brushing and flossing. There are no magic remedies, potions, elixirs or alternative secrets. Proper home care or things will get worse over time. It's your choice as to what's important to you, flossing or keeping your teeth. It's not one of my favorite pastimes but I do it conscientiously after meals.

Yes: What your dentist really wants is for you to clean interdentally. For people who don't like floss, there are many good alternatives. The bottom line is to reduce gum inflammation thru good hygiene. Reduce exposure to sugary foods. Practice good nutrition and find a good alternative to floss. Your bleeding gums will improve. If you've done all this and bleeding persists, get a thorough medical exam.
