No and no!: First, congratulations. Flossing does not cause gaps between your teeth & no you shouldn't stop. Tooth brushing does not clean between your teeth & using dental floss is the best method to remove food & plaque that accumulates there. If you stop using floss, you are more likely to develop gum problems & cavities over time. If you have or develop gaps, speak to your orthodontist. Wear your retainer.

NEVER STOP FLOSSING!: Teeth will "settle" for a couple of months after the braces come off. Occasionally, the bands (especially) will leave "space" between the teeth. These should close with time. In the meantime, you must keep the teeth clean to prevent the development of gum infection. Brushing alone won't cut it. See your orthodontist if trouble continues.
