Varicoceles: Varicoceles occur in about 10 to 15 percent of the general population. These cluster of veins encircle the testes and cool them. When they dilate, resulting in a varicocele, they can cause infertility and in some cases pain. A visit with a urologist may help. Treatment includes microsurgical ligation or embolization.
