Options.: Red yeast rice is a naturally occurring statin which has a similar mechanism to actual prescription medications but which occurs naturally. As well, look into Niacin supplementation and, of course, fish oils. A high fiber diet will help lower cholesterol as well. Don't underestimate the power of a healthful meal and exercise plan.
