Simple stuff: A sensible diet (your physician and/or a dietician may guide you) and plenty of aerobic exercise are answers you have already heard and you may be surprised to learn they will help some. However, high cholesterol is largely genetic and you can't do a thing about this -- if you refuse medication you truly need, you'll pay with your life. If it has to be "natural", there's a yeast that makes statin.
