Limpoma?: A lipoma is a fat tissue benign tumor. A lymphoma is a malignant tumor involving lymph nodes. I am not sure which one of the two was yor dr. Referring to. The only way to know for sure which is which is by removing the whole lump or part of it and performing histopathology and immunology tests. Those tests are indicated in lumps that are not obviously normal lymph nodes.
