Always possible: Lymphomas begin a small enlargement of regional lymphn node unassociated with adjacent infection or previous regional malignancy. If they remain unchanged in size or number then they can be watched. If increasing in size or number then bx needed. The lymphoma when low grade can remain in a dormant like state for many months and then eventually change patterns when bx should be carried out.
