What would cause lots of tiny air bubbles in a supra pubic catheter? how would air get into bladder. could it be fistula?

Many possibilities : A fistula between bowel and bladder is one possibility. A gas forming bacteria may be a more likely cause. It's also possible that air is entering the bladder through the urethra or the cystostomy site. See a urologist to sort it out.
