I wonder if you talk about a procedure for urinary diversion which is done to create an ileal conduit by using a section of ileum to create a pouch which serves as a bladder and two ureters are connected to that pouch with opening on the lower abdomen. The urine will be collected in a bag, almost the same as a colostomy. This procedure is usually accomplished by a general surgeon and a urologist.
