A member asked:

Am i in danger if i stop taking 60, yes six zero mg of valium daily for the past two weeks? if so, advice?

seizure risk: Although 2 weeks is not a very long time to be on valium, if you used 70mg/ day for mostt of that time, you might be increasing the risk of having a seizure if yku stop suddenly, not to mention causing high rebound anxiety states. I recommend you call your doctor tomorrow or monday to discuss your cobcetns and to make a safer plan that you are comfortable with.

Victoria,: You should not stop valium abruptly. It seems that you are tolerant of very large amounts and attempts at cessation should be slow, careful and under supervision.
