i have a slow resting heartbeat, average of about 55bmp. i've seen it go into the high 40's though. i jog, and also take valium daily. dangerous?

Heart rate: Resting heart rate in the50's may be a sign of excellent aerobic conditioning. If no symptoms it is not usually a cause for concern. Sometimes it can go lower and still be fine if no symptoms.
