A member asked:

My doctor requested a acth stim test on my blood req. all they did was draw blood. they didn't inject me with anything. did they do the wrong test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ACTH test: The purpose of the test is to see how your adrenal cortisol responds to a dose of acth. If no injection was given, then there is no response. So it sounds like the test was not done properly.
