No: Teens do not (and should not) be taking things to try to gain weight, other than the proper foods with higher amounts of healthy calories. The teen's pediatrician can make some helpful recommendations. Usually, eating extra servings of lean protein, plus some healthier types of fats (such as olive oil and nut butters) will help. Avoid sugars.
