Look at your son's : Growth curve with his pediatrician. Expect a 4-6 lb. Weight gain from age 1-2. To increase appetite for solids, wean off the bottle. Limit milk to 16-21 oz./day from an open-mouth cup ; juice to 0-4 oz./day. Put a tbsp. Of each food/year of age on a plate. Allow self-feeding first, then offer more, if wanted. Have family meals during which you model eating behaviors that you want him to learn.
