Insomnia: The best treatment for insomnia is to identify the underlying cause and address it. The most common cause of difficulty falling asleep is stress or bringing your worries to bed. Difficulty staying asleep can be a symptoms of a sleep related breathing or movement disorder. I recommend against taking a medicine to put you to sleep. It is not a good long term solution.
