Low chance: Other parts of the body, but the area viewed has minimal chance of these lesions. The studies are in the moment and do not predict the future.

Possible : The resolution of an mra is limited to about 2-3 mm in most scanners. It will pick up most significant lesions. In cases where there is a high index of suspicion, a catheter angiogram can be performed which has higher resolution. This study is invasive, however, and carries some risks.
