A member asked:

Is there a difference between "no frank aneurysm formation is appreciated." and a "normal study." when written on brain mra reports?if yes what.....?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Symantics: Your physician may have specifically asked the question "is there an aneurysm?" the correct response of the radiologist is to answer the question directly, which is what is meant by "no frank aneurysm..." if that question wasn't specifically asked, the radiologist would likely conclude in his impression that the study is normal. Mra would not likely see an aneurysm smaller than 5mm.
