The meds might help: You need to find a counselor. Someone you can talk with. Someone who can help. I don't think that your doctor doesn't care, but our healthcare system as it exists right now means there is hardly any time to stop and talk to patients. We often resort to pills, when sometimes talk therapy would work as well. But counselors are paid to do just that. Continue meds for now, but find a therapist!

DEPRESSION: First have a physical exam to rule out a physical problem. Please consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy to help you with ZOOM.com sessions. Research indicates with psychotherapy you can change & find better coping mechanisms. We now have instrumentation that shows the changes from psychotherapy are deeper than the changes from medication so it's good to have both.
