Student health: If you're in college, you very likely have a student health service on campus and can be seen there for initial evaluation. Depending on the severity, psychologists and psychiatrists there may be able to treat you -- or they may recommend you see a private psychiatrist in the community. If headed home for christmas break, talk with your parents about this and see a doctor where you've lived.

Counseling : Report to the campus counseling center. Depression in college is very common because of all the changes that ollege students have to go through adjusting from the impact of moving from their small towns or big cities or wherever else to college life, and stepping toward autonomy. It often represents too much change into short period of time. Counseling likely will be of benefit.
