tetanus low risk: With the tetanus booster your risk of tetanus is low; however you need to monior it carefully for signd of bacterial infection such as swelling, redness and drainage.

Minimal: Unless the safety pin was likely to have been fecally contaminated and have large numbers of clostridium tetani inoculated, the tetanus booster should provide adequate antibody protection.

Not for Tetanus: But you can get another type of infection. Watch for redness, pus, swelling, fever. Be seen if it is getting worse after the first 24 hours. You might need an antibiotic.
