Try Alleve: "sore" knees due to arthritis in your case( apparently)may respond to a trial of alleve. Alleve is low dose naprosyn (naproxen) and is cheap and effective in mild to moderate arthritis . I ususually start w/ 2 in am( w/ breakfast) and 2 @ dinner. Some patients respond better to advil ( Ibuprofen ). Check w/ your family physician to make sure either of these otc meds is safe for u( w/ other meds u are taking ).
