If pain is your main: Complaint, both tylenol (acetaminophen) and nsaids can be of benefit. If inflammation is playing a big part then the NSAID might help you get more relief. Either way, using a combination of both and not overdoing either can help minimize the gastric side effects and liver toxicity that can occur with nsaids and tylenol (acetaminophen) respectively.
