Chronic Pain: Most pain clinics focus on treating pain without addicting medications like the pills you're boyfriend is taking. He should see either a medical physician or a psychologist who has experience in treating chronic pain with other techniques. He should seek: A second opinion. Really a horrible thing to be on lortabs for scoliosis. No narcotic medication is needed to treat this. He needs to see a scoliosis specialist, as whomever started him on lortabs for scoliosis treatment is not managing the diagnosis as it should. Taking narcotics for a chronic issue like this is a bad idea, usually does not end well. There are better treatments.
