I have jaw pain and toothache can it be an abcess?

jaw pain : When does your jaw hurt and is the toothache in the same area? Does the tooth that hurts seem to be a single tooth or multiple teeth? Do you grind your teeth at night? Do you see any swelling or pus around the tooth- see a dentist and they can take an x- ray to determine if it might be an abscess.

Possibly: An abscess is an infection, and that would be diagnosed by a dentist. A toothache alone does not indicate and infection. Cracked teeth, cavities, and bruxism can all caused toothaches, without an infection. Please see a local dentist.

Dental problems: Jaw pain and a toothache are two good reasons to see a dentist as soon as possible. Your dentist can diagnose the problem and help you to feel better.
