A member asked:

Please suggest a diet for a diabetic low blood pressure patient?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low carb, high prot.: A low carbohydrate/high protein diet is likely the best to help with these things. It does depend on the type of diabetes as type i needs Insulin and so more sugar/carbohydrate might be needed to avoid hypoglycemia, and type ii doesn't need Insulin and so less carbs may be needed. But either way a diet rich in proteins and vegetables like carrots and celery and exercise and low in carbs is good.
