I know that biotin can interfere with results of certain blood tests and probably is best withheld before getting lab work. It can also interfere with actions of certain meds&chemotherapy. I don't find adverse effects with diabetes or their meds. 10000 mcg is a reasonable dose. Your pharmacist can advise you further about biotin & diabetes.

What do you expect to gain from taking this much biotin. It will not improve your health and may interfere with some lab test results. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
