Many possibilities: Although. Many possibilities for a drop in blood pressure in people with diabetes exists, autonomic insufficiency relatedd to diabetic neuropathy needs to be kept in mind. This may manifest as a drop in blood pressure when changing from a lying or sitting position to a standing position with associated symptoms.
