A member asked:

Can tazocin be given to patients with diabetic and blood pressure problems?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes but with caution: Tazocin is a strong antibiotic of broad spectrum and potency. Its problem is that it is given four times a day in doses of several grams. Therefore the dose needs to be monitored by a physician familar with the drug. It should be used with caution in patients with renal or cardiac problems which may exist as complications of diabetes and hypertension. So yes it can be given, cautiously.
