Diet : Diet and exercise are a very large part of any high blood pressure management. Particularly a diet low in sodium (less than 2000mg) per day. Outside of that, helping this person make and keep regularly scheduled doctors appointments, obtaining a home blood pressure cuff and helping them learn how to use it (make sure to sit down and rest at least 5 minutes before taking the blood pressure), and keeping records of the blood pressures to bring into the appointment will help in the management.
