I had a endoscope on tuesday and my uvula has been swollen and has a white spot on it is this normal?

Endoscopic exam: Was the procedure done while you were awake or in the or? Any operative or office based endoscopy has the potential to irritate the uvula and cause it to swell. The white spot is usually an abrasion. I see no cause for major concern, should get better. However, if the uvula continues to swell , should see an ENT for evaluation.
