Parotid gland: Sounds like it could be a Parotid gland swelling often due to a small stone blocking the duct (which may be the "spot" inside your mouth.Your Primary Care Doctor can usually make this diagnosis with a quick visit. Can you upload pictures to Health Tap??

Swelling: if its in the gum, maybe a dental abscess if its in thefloor of the mouth under the tongue it maybe a swollen salivary gland. The spot in the cheek may be bite trauma or a cold sore. Warm salt water gargles and check it out with an ENT
