A member asked:

Infected cut on my leg to the bone. how can i treat it without seeing a doctor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Don't do that: If you allow the infection to proceed without physician oversight and appropriate testing and antibiotic treatment you may be facing long term intravenous antibiotic therapy and possible surgery for infections of the bone (osteomyelitis). The few dollars you spend now will be only a fraction of your costs should this develop. Please get treated asap.
