In : In all likelihood, there is still pus inside the cyst. A pinprick from a syringe is probably insufficient in removing anything except a small amount of thin fluid. You really need an incision to get what's in there out of it. In fact, if this thing keeps getting infected, you might want to see a surgeon and have the entire cyst removed. The meat you've been putting on has served to keep the infection localized, but i hope you didn't go to a prime meat butcher for this, because a moist rag would have done the same for a lot less. My best advice is to see your family physician who would more than likely be able to lance the thing and get much more stuff out, and you might even need a course of antibiotics. Good luck, and enjoy that piece of meat.
