A member asked:

Does my 11month old always have his tongue out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not worry: Babies, infants, and toddlers often play with the tongue, or spit, or drool, or thrust their lower jaw forward making them appear as if they have an under bite. They usually grow out of this. As they get older, if you notice that this habit is associated with constant mouth breathing or allergies, have a dentist or an ENT check their tonsils to see if they are abnormally swollen.
