Over 6 possibilities: You don't mention worry that it is down's syndrome, but that is one possible cause - there are lots of others and this web site is helpful in mentioning many. Also gives suggestions for help - like straw drinking, 'ba/pa' sounds, etc. Also - talking to your pediatrician. Glad you asked - many babies do it and others can benefit from the info too. Best!
