We are asked this a lot these days, especially with Covid. Rinse your tooth brush off and let it stand in some Listerine overnight. it will be just fine for you. Replacing a tooth brush should be done when it is worn or after three months or so. Brushing correctly, from gum to tooh rotating the brush head as you go, and across the tongue, and not pressing too hard, a brush will last a long time.

As a rule we should change our tooth brush every Three months .In your case if you have been treated for your gum infection , it makes sense to change the tooth brush but if you have gum problem and not treated ,changing tooth brush will not make any difference . You should also disinfect your tooth brush every week in antibacterial Moth wash .
