Vitiligo: Vitiligo is a condition where melanocytes (cells in our skin that make pigment) stop functioning. Causes are frequently autoimmune or infectious. It can be highly concerning to the patient, but is not considered a risk to life and limb. I recommend seeing a dermatologist.
