Eczema or psoriasis: I am not a dermatologist and not an expert on skin conditions. However, this sounds like either eczema or psoriasis. When you have the patch but before you scrape it, make an appointment with a dermatologist.

Psoriasis?: Family history of psoriasis? Bleeds when scale picked off?? Any lesions on elbows/knees? Growing size? could be fungal if hair loss present. Get checked to make diagnosis
